I have worked long and hard on a series of question and answer type memos that I think will tell both the lawyer and layperson alike most of what either will need to know about (a) making outright gifts to charity, (b) establishing and maintaining a private foundation (c) establishing and maintaining a charitable remainder trust, (d) establishing and maintaining a charitable lead trust, and (e) establishing and maintaining a public charity, including donor advised funds and supporting organizations. 

The first three installments are now done. The last two subjects are in draft form already, but need some cleaning up. Be patient; they will be posted before too long. 

I will be adding periodically free forms for making various types of donations, so stay tuned.
